I am using Remote Desktop to connect to a Win2K server running terminal
services with 4 PCs(1 XPPro, 2 XPHome, 1 Win2003 Server Evaluation) PCs. My Win2003 Server at work and my XP Pro at Home and My Brothers XP Home all access the server thru the internet and cannot view property pages in event viewer and MMC(Group Policy), if you try to close eith it says close the property pages first but they never show up to view or close. There is a win XP home Computer at the location of the server that is on the other side of the server(the server has 2 NICs and has RRAS setup for NAT) with a crossover cable and it can see the property pages. Has anyone seen this? This is REALLY causing problems because I have to go across town to change settings or view the log. |

What type of account are you using to access this server?
Admin account? Have you tried updating your RDP client?> -M >-----Original Message----- >I am using Remote Desktop to connect to a Win2K server running terminal >services with 4 PCs(1 XPPro, 2 XPHome, 1 Win2003 Server Evaluation) PCs. >My Win2003 Server at work and my XP Pro at Home and My Brothers XP Home all >access the server thru the internet and cannot view property pages in event >viewer and MMC(Group Policy), if you try to close eith it says close the >property pages first but they never show up to view or close. >There is a win XP home Computer at the location of the server that is on the >other side of the server(the server has 2 NICs and has RRAS setup for NAT) >with a crossover cable and it can see the property pages. > >Has anyone seen this? >This is REALLY causing problems because I have to go across town to change >settings or view the log. > > >. > |
