Default How to move Documents and Settings folder to another drive

Wants to know the procedure to move Documents and
Settings folder to another drive, I have gone through the
article Q236621 but its says to change the registry value
manually by find and replace the value manually, this
scares to death to perform on the live enterprise server.
Looking for a better, simple method to move the documents
and settings folder to another drive

What you want to do is be very careful, first you make a good copy of the
registry and exporting the part you need to edit into a file as a good idea
also.

I have followed the instructions in Q236621 and by being careful it worked
perfectly.
In my opinion the best time to do this is on friday evening or saturday
morning so that if things go bad you can restore over the weekend.

There is a GPO that allows you to store it elsewhere
