or just log on locally? |

It depends on what you want to do. Think of the terminal
server as a workstation in this instance. If you need to access the resources and take advantage of the manageability a domain provides then it should log onto a domain. Your question is very general, and really depends on what you are trying to do. >-----Original Message----- >Should the Terminal Services Server Log on to the Domain, >or just log on locally? >. > |

usually, your data is not on teh app server so you will need to logon to a
domain. -- Sincerely, Mark Mancini, CCA, CCNA, Master CIW&CI, CNE 4&5, MCSE+I 4&2000 www.MCSE2000.com www.AppLauncher.com "John Kimble" <anonymous@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:031601c3dae6$437f5f20$a401280a@phx.gbl... > Should the Terminal Services Server Log on to the Domain, > or just log on locally? |

Typically you will logon to the domain. Otherwise you may
have to setup local account for all the users so they can logon to the box. Logging on to the domain also allows single logon for accessing remote resources. Steve >-----Original Message----- >Should the Terminal Services Server Log on to the Domain, >or just log on locally? >. > |
