Default Remote Connection

I have an XP machine at home, and i need to connect to
our 2k servers at the office. So far i have been
unsuccesful with finding any articles that mesh the two
togethers, mostly 2k servers and 2k pro

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Default Re: Remote Connection

Connecting from an XP machine to a W2K Terminal Server is no
different than from an W2K client. Your connection problem is
probably caused by a firewall. You need to point port 3389 on the
firewall to the TS.

Default Remote Connection

Windows 2000 Pro machines don't have the remote connection
ability. Windows 2000 Server does, just turn it on
through add/remove windows components in the control panel.

If you need to control Windows 2000 Pro machines, then
look into using NetMeeting, VNC, or PCAnywhere.
