Connecting from an XP machine to a W2K Terminal Server is no
different than from an W2K client. Your connection problem is probably caused by a firewall. You need to point port 3389 on the firewall to the TS. -- Vera Noest MCSE, CCEA, Microsoft MVP - Terminal Server http://hem.fyristorg.com/vera/IT --- please respond in newsgroup --- "Michael" <no@spam.com> wrote in news:05cb01c38c38$cb2fcab0 $a101280a@phx.gbl: > I have an XP machine at home, and i need to connect to > our 2k servers at the office. Windows 2000 Pro machines don't have the remote connection
ability. Windows 2000 Server does, just turn it on through add/remove windows components in the control panel. If you need to control Windows 2000 Pro machines, then look into using NetMeeting, VNC, or PCAnywhere. -M >-----Original Message----- >I have an XP machine at home, and i need to connect to >our 2k servers at the office.
