I am presently running a backup computer with Win2000
Professional. I have received as a present a new copt of Windows XP Home Edition. How can I load this on my computer? I do not wish to buy XP Professional for this computer. Any help will be greatly appreciated. David Lindsay |

To do a clean install boot the Windows XP install CD-Rom. When you get to
the point, delete the existing NTFS and or other partitions found. After you delete the partition(s) abort the install, then again restart the pc booting the CD-Rom to avoid unexpected drive letter assignments with your new install. -- Regards, Dave Patrick ....Please no email replies - reply in newsgroup.
