Default ADPREP.EXE

I have a single domain controller running Windows 2000
Advanced Server. This server also runs DNS & DHCP and
Active Directory and other domain stuff.

I bought a new server and bought with it Windows 2003
Enterprise. I want to migrate everything from the old
server to the new one and I was reading that ADPREP will
do it all for me.

I understand that if I run "ADPREP /forestprep" first then
I can run "ADPREP /domainprep" on the Window 2000 Advanced
Server system this will get it up to par with how 2003 is
setup. Then I can setup Windows 2003 Enterprise as another
Domain Controller in the forest and the data should
replicate over from the preped 2000 system to the new 2003
system.

If all goes well, I planned on disconnecting and removing
the old 2000 Adv. Server from the scene.

If this is right or wrong or missing some step please let
me know - I dont want to bring down our doamin and cause a
bigger problem.

I realize that I could do it step by step and redo
everything by hand - but that would take a long time and
I'd rather set the new unit up - replicate - then
disconnect the old unit so the new one is the new
controller.
