Default W2K Upgrade

Hello,

I'm currently running three NT4 domain controllers with
one running Exchange 5.5. I am trying to plan an
upgrade/migration to W2K server for the existing three NT4
servers and add a new fourth W2K server running Exchange
2000 and eventually migrate everything over.

In what order would be recommended for the upgrade to 2000
as far as the NT4 servers & Exchange 5.5 and adding the
new W2K server with Exchange 2000? I've heard running in
a mixed mode would cause some issues and upgrading all
current hardware to 2000 first and then add the new W2k
server would be best.

Thank you.

When talking about upgrading NT 4.0 to Win 2k, you MUST upgrade the PDC
first.

I don't know which "issues" you are talking about. After upgrading the PDC
of a NT 4.0 domain you can add a Win 2k server to the domain next or you can
upgrade the NT 4.0 BDCs to Win 2k. It's your choice.
