I am moving my current users from an existing domain to a
new domain. Is there a way to copy the user profile on the desktop to the user in the new domain? The user names are the same in both domains. I am trying to maintain their desktop, favorites, programs, etc. Thanks |

You can use the following article to copy profile settings from one user to
another: 255095.KB.EN-US Duplicating User Profiles in Windows 2000 http://support.microsoft.com/defaul...KB;EN-US;255095 -- Ken Zummach Server Setup Team This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights. This will still create a new profile when the user logs in for the first
time in the new domain. The profile name will probably be something like "username.domainname" instead of just username. You should be able to copy the profile settings by following the article. -- Ken Zummach Server Setup Team This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights.
