Despite receiving advice that a clean install was best, I've successfully installed W2K Pro alongside W95 on two machines, retaining FAT32. One a home built Athlon based system and an old (P233) Intel. Both dual boot quite happily and the W95 option allows the children to play the games that don't run under W2K. I've also found that W95 allows for more effective backups to be taken. Be warned though that this is a less secure option than a clean NTFS install and you will need to run two sets of software (like firewall and virus checkers) if you persist with the dual boot option. Thanks Dave By 'clean install' I meant installing to a freshly formatted HD rather than to one that already had W95 installed on it. For future reference, is there a more appropriate term I should have used?
