I am trying to upgrade from ME to 2000 PRO. Half way
though the install. I get an kernel32 error. When I try again, I get a message that the upgrade will not be available because some .dll files cannot be loaded. Anybody have any ideas? CV |

I am running ME right now. I will have a lot of expensive
issues if I upgrade to XP. That is the reason I am thinking of upgrading to 2000 PRO instead. If there is no supported upgrade path from ME to 2000, does that mean I should get the complete 2000 package instead of the Upgrade version! Or should I just forget it all together. Thanks. >-----Original Message----- >There is no supported upgrade path from WinME to Windows 2000 > >-- >Regards, > >Dave Patrick ....Please no email replies - reply in newsgroup. >Microsoft MVP [Windows NT/2000 Operating Systems] > >"Chris V." wrote: >> I am trying to upgrade from ME to 2000 PRO.
