I created a user and joined user to Administrators, but
they cannot install programs like MS Office. Why do they have to log on as Administrator. No changed were made to local policies and no domain policy is being enforced. Thanks. |

They should not have to logon/logoff if their account is in the local
administrators group. I would run the following command and verify that the account they are using is truely in the admin group. net localgroup administrators Make sure they are using the correct account. Do you see unresolved SIDS in this group? IBTerry [MSFT] This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights. |
