Hello!
I have used sysprep 1.1 to make imaged "easy" installations. When I had finished the "mini setup" I found out that i misstyped the Computername and changed it afterwards. What I found out was that ipconfig /all still shows old hostname and I manually had to go through registry to change hostname and NV hostname. What to do? |

Are you saying that if you rename your computer and restart it does not
"stick" and the old name remains? -- Scott Baldridge Windows Server MVP, MCSE > I have used sysprep 1.1 to make imaged "easy" > installations. > When I had finished the "mini setup" I found out that i > misstyped the Computername and changed it afterwards. > > What I found out was that ipconfig /all still shows old > hostname and I manually had to go through registry to > change hostname and NV hostname. > > What to do? |
