Hi Brendon,
Let me know how you get on; I'm out of ideas on this one. I thought the whole point of "plug-ins" was they they could be installed in the user context - hence the "certificate" screen. It seems Flash creates a folder called "Macromed" under System32, and obviously won't have user rights to be written to (but that's only part of the problem to my knowledge). I find it odd this isn't an FAQ; I mean how many SysAdmins must have rolled out Windows/IE6 and not have users complain about Flash not working? If I had my way, Flash would be banned, but that's an other story ![]() Brendon Rogers wrote: > I am going to work on this next week because I will need to rollout Flash > with IE6SP1 via GPO. I found you can download an MSI version of Flash from Macromedia; you need
to complete a licensing agreement and they will send you a link. Make sure you choose Flash Player only for Intranet distribution, this will result in a link for an MSI being sent to you. Then use GPO to distribute the package. http://www.macromedia.com/support/s...sing/faq.html#5 "Gerry Hickman" <gerry1uk@netscape.net> wrote in message news:etQftgyPDHA.3192@TK2MSFTNGP10.phx.gbl... > Hi Brendon, > > Let me know how you get on; I'm out of ideas on this one.
