Is there a way to change the Documents and Settings
default location. I am running Terminal Services and when users are created it drops the Documents and Settings in to root of my system drive. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You Michael |

The best time to do this is at setup. I know what you're thinking --
there's nowhere in setup that I can specify it. If you create an unattended answer file containing the following, name it "winnt.sif" and place it on a floppy, that should take care of things. If not, you'll need to put some more stuff in your SIF file (I've never done this, personally). [GUIUnattended] ProfilesDir = d:\profiles The other method is for an existing installation. Note that the article says that Microsoft does not support this method. I understand totally why. http://support.microsoft.com/defaul...kb;en-us;322014 I will feel absolutely no guilt if you do this and blow your server away. I wouldn't do it on a server I cared much about. Hope this helps Oli "Michael" <java_html@hotmail.com> wrote in message news:b4f101c3eccb$d8b67be0$a301280a@phx.gbl... > Is there a way to change the Documents and Settings > default location.
