Default W2K hangs at start-up after Systemced fix

I followed the instructions of article 269075 of the
Microsoft knowledge-base with regard to "Windows could not
start because the following file is missing or corrupt:
\Winnt\Wystem32\Config\Systemced", up to the point where
repair\system is copied to \config.

Then: at restart usb-mouse/keyboard does not work. Start-
up runs until request for "Ctrl-Alt-Del", no repsonse on
mouse and keyboard.

Can anybody help?

thanks

Guus
