Default Alert settings for mirrored disk??

I've just created a mirrored volume through Windows Disk Management in 2000
Server (SP3). Is there an alert setting i can use that will monitor the
mirror? I want to be notified if one of the disks fails and/or if something
goes wrong with the mirror.

There is no such option within the operating system, only error messages in
the event log. You will need to find a third party tool, that watches the
event logs and warns you.
