Installing Windows 2000 on Promise FastTrack S150 SX4

hi

i recently tried to install windows 2000 server on the promise fasttrack
s150 sx4 controller. i have successfully created the array and created the
first partition. formatting from within the windows installer also works.
when the installert copies the instalation files to the partition it stops
unexpectedly (sometimes at 2% or 19% etc...).

i tried the newest drivers from promise without success. i even tried the xp
drivers under 2000. it still does not work. i also tried different
installation disks (win2k server (msdn version) and "normal" installation
disc).

any ideas?

Have U tried onother copy of the 2000 CD or uaing another CD-ROM drive?
Sounds like one of the 2 has a problem...

yes, i did. does not work at all. could that also be a problem with the
interrupt sharing?
