Hey all. Reading some of the threads and hearing the suggestions about
using Win9x boot floppies has me a bit puzzled. What are the licensing options with using Win9x DOS? Is it a licensed product of its own, or does owning Win2k/XP/2003 come with some granted rights to use the software. Is it freeware? I work for a large educational institution and would *love* to be able to use MS-DOS. But I don't have a single Win9x license (nor can I get one), just several thousand NT4/2k/XP/2003 licenses. Opinions? One of the MSFT's want to jump in here? Thanks! (j) James Williams |
