Hello all
I'm trying to set up my DSL account on my Windows 2000 but it's just not working. I tried to make a dial up connection, didn't work. Connect through LAN didn't work either. |

Nothing really to do with the operating system. Get in touch with your ISP
tech support. -- Regards, Dave Patrick ....Please no email replies - reply in newsgroup. Your router probably came with a CD with PPPoE software on it, as well as
documentation. Myself, I prefer to use a hardware firewall/gateway that can handle the login, provide more security & do NAT/DHCP. bruno wrote: > Hello all > > I'm trying to set up my DSL account on my Windows 2000 but > it's just not working. > > I tried to make a dial up connection, didn't work. All that is necessary is plug it in. Run Internet connection Wizard. connect through lan, automatic proxy, finish. If your ISP tells you to install their software, I would cancel and run for another ISP. PPPoE was also mentioned in this thread. This is another tracking device _period._ -- Tampa Bay |
