I have an XP 1700+ cpu. It has Win XP on it now and since
it won't run my HP scanner 3300 C, want find my new Maxtor 120GHD I want to go back to Win2000. Will a XP box run Win 2000. I tried to install 2000 but it fails about 2/3 way through the install. If I can't get 2000 to load on this PC I will either have to replace it with a new mother board (Not an XP board & CPU) or go to Linux.
