How do you make yourself the administrator when there are
no administrators on your windows XP? Andy.

It is impossible for there to be no admin account.
The built-in Administrator account can be renamed
but not removed. So, try accessing with this account,
in safe mode if you must as with Home.

On startup, after the first graphic screen, press F8 and
go into safe mode. Go to control panel and open User
Accounts. Administrator should be the only one there at
this point. If the password has already been set, and you
don't know it.....Sorry! REFORMAT and start over! If not,
then set the password. Create as many User accounts as
needed. Set one of them as having admin authority. Good
idea not to go online as an admin. This allows all the
bugs out there to get in. Restart your Puter and log on.
