Hi,
I have the following situation: a server running Win2k3 Enterprise Eval. and equiped with an ISDN-card (FRITZ!Card DSL) is acting (among other things) as dial-up-server (utilizing RRAS). Now my question: How is it possible to let anlalog (modem)-user dial into the server? Is an extra modem (attached to the server) required or can you perform it by simply installing some virtual modem (communication with the FRITZ!Card via CAPI) on the server and configuring them for dial-in access? Help would greatly be appreciated. Greets, Simon |

It would entirely depend on the capablities of the card, however, even if
the card support analog as well as ISDN, it would need to be connected to one or the other, and there would likely be a config change to go back and forth. An additional modem is your best bet.
