Question: How do we delete a job that says Deleting or
Spooling in a Print Queue? We've got a print queue on a Windows 2000 server. When a document is sent to that queue, sometimes, for a long while it says SPOOLING - creating a long queue behind it. This time we attempted cancel the job that said spooling. But did not remove it from the queue, instead it says it's Deleting... I know that rebooting the server would remove the job but I'm not in a position to reboot the server. Thanks in advance. |

I used to have this problem on a server. I solved it by
pausing the printer, then stopping and starting the spooler service. It happened so often that I wrote a simple batch file to stop and start the spooler service, and put a shortcut to the batch file on the server's desktop. >-----Original Message----- >Question: How do we delete a job that says Deleting or >Spooling in a Print Queue? > >We've got a print queue on a Windows 2000 server.
