Win2K, just upgraded to SP4. Get following error at boot
"Spoolsv.exe-Entry point not found. The procedure entry point GetPrinterA could not be located in the dynamic Link Library spoolss.dll." Can't find any reference to this error in technet. I had thought that maybe the DLL was corrupt so I replaced it with a known good version, got same error. Was going to back rev the dll but thought I check here first. TIA Ron... |

Ron:
I have the same problem on a Win 2K PC (IBM NetVista) I just updated with SP4 and other patches. All of my other Win 2K PCs are fine - only this one shows that error message. All apps, etc. are the same across machines, and the hardware is also the same. Any ideas would be appreciated. Actually, take a look at:
http://www.tek-tips.com/gviewthread.../616/qid/592219 and http://bizforums.itrc.hp.com/cm/Que...77a778c,00.html Sounds like this predates Win2K.
