The good news: In the Win2K printer options there is one to add drivers for
other operating systems including win98se

( Start -> Settings -> printers then right click the printer in the printer
page, select sharing and there is a button 'additional drivers')

The bad news: I've done this, and my win98 machine doesn't even see the
shared printer on the network but other Win2K machines see it ok

So if you find a solution I'm all ears !

Just been shown how to do this by my (Win NT proficient) son !

Apparently Win 2K and NT don't publish the shared printers to Win 98 other
than using netbios, so instead of being able to browse for the shared
printer from Win98 you have to put in the full share name. If that sounds
like I don't really know what I'm talking about it's true ! But he did it
and set it up for me <g>
