Cannot cancel qued print jobs

I have Windows 2000. I often use Winfax to send Word documents as faxs, but
am nowhaving regular problems in that when I try to choose Winfax as the
printer I end up with more than one print job (of the same document) and
none will send. When I try to cancel these print jobs, I can immediately
cancel those after the first one, but the first one will simply not cancel.
It will sometimes cancel only after I have rebooted the computer, but will
not cancel while the computer is still working. The bottom line is that the
Winfax "print" function now only works about one in five trys if that.

I don't know if this a Winfax problem or if it is a Windows problem, but
seek some advise.
