Default Unable to load roaming profile

Hello, I have a question.
I work for a company that is connected to a domain network. We all
have WindowsXP Professional with Novell Netware 4.8.
Sometimes (not always) when we login, we get an error stating "Your
local profile is newer than your roaming profile. Would you like to
use your local profile instead?". If we say no, then we get another
error stating "Unable to load your roaming profile".
Any idea what could be causing this and how to fix it?
Thanks!

Get rid of Novell.
Are you logging into Novell and a Windows Domain or JUST Novell?
If So, which is controlling the Roaming Profile?

I guess you could try upgrading the Novell client - there is a newer version
than the one you are using.
