Default Trojan ByteVerify

After scanning my system using Norton AV 2003, it reported that I had a
virus called Trojan ByteVerify & it was located in a file called
counter2[1].cab, supposedly in \Local Settings\Temporary Internet
Files\Content.IE5\OLMNOPUR\.

NAV failed to delete it. I then searched manually for this file but failed
to find it or the directory. If it does not exist why does NAV reported it.

Thanks in advance,
Ray

Default Re: Trojan ByteVerify

That's your Internet Explorer Cache folder. It doesn't come up in searches.
In IE - Tools / Internet Options / Delete files (check offline content too).
