GPMC was downloaded and installed on a Windows XP Pro(sp1)
computer. When GPMC is run a log-in error occurs - 'you must have a username/password for the domain'. Is the computer logging into the Windows 2000 network? The network is Netware 5.1/Windows 2000. There is a netware client login screen, Windows XP login, but it isn't clear that Windows 2000 is being logged into. The username/password used exist in Window 2000 AD. Thanks, Jim |

Finally figured out the problem. The client XP Pro
machine was not logged into Windows 2000 Domain. It's not obvious that you are/aren't logged into the network. System in control panel was used to login to the Windows 2000 Domain the first time after rebooting. After the reboot the Windows 2000 domain appears in the netware login in the windows tab under the domain. Once logged into the network the GPMC worked. Also GP worked. >-----Original Message----- >GPMC was downloaded and installed on a Windows XP Pro (sp1) >computer.
