Roaming profiles

Hi,

I am running a win2000 server network with a client
machines running a mix of winxp and 2000 oses.

I have a problem with roaming profiles on some of the xp
machines.

The roaming profiles are saved on my domain controller
(dc) so when people log in, their latest profile is
downloaded from this server.

The problem i experience is that some machines, when
logging off the network, close network connections before
saving settings. The machines that do save their
profiles correctly do the opposite in that they save
settings before closing network connections.

This happens to only XP machines on the network not the
2000 machines.

Does anyone have any suggestions for me? Any assistance
would be kindly appreciated.
