Hi SLU Tech,
Search Windows 2000 Help (windows.chm) for "change permissions". Note that the fourth topic returned is on the subject of security properties of objects, is titled "Changing inherited permissions", and the text includes the word "shaded". Also, see the following Microsoft Knowledge Base Article: KB313398 - HOW TO: Control NTFS Permissions Inheritance in Windows http://support.microsoft.com/?scid=313398 -- Carrie Garth, Microsoft MVP for Windows 2000 -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- c x g : "SLUTech" <slutech AT slu DOT edu> : Wrote in message news:0c4801c340e2$36439090$a001280a@phx.gbl : Sent: Wednesday, July 02, 2003 04:38 PM : hello, it's me again.
