A new unlimited account (with administrator priveleges
was added to our computer running XP Professional. All of our programs are in the basic administrator account and are now mostly unavailable as the computer insists on loading the new account and does not even show the administrator icon on the user page. I want to delete this new bad account. How do I delete a secondary administrator account? Please someone help. Thank you. |

Hi,
Here are instructions how you can make your Administrator appear on the Welcome Screen: http://www.winguides.com/registry/display.php/1165/ If you want to delete account an account, logon as administrator. You can do this by clicking CTRL+ALT+DEL two times when you get to the Welcome Screen. New logon windows will pop-up. Under username type Administrator and enter password for this account. After you are signed in Go to Control Panel (Start -> Control Panel) -> User Accounts. Select the account you want to delete and click Delete the account. I hope this helps you out. -- Mike MCSA 2K, MCSE 2K, MCT, ...
