Default subdomain

Hi,

I have setup a local area network which has a Windows 2000 SBS server, the
domain of this local network is "abc.com". I want to point the web mail
server, "mail.abc.com" to an outside ISP's server that is hosting our email
service.

How do I set the zones in the DNS to be able to point to the outside ISP's
address for just the subdomain of "mail.abc.com". The ISP has set a
website for us called "mail. abc.com".

How do I do it under Windows 2000 DNS?

Thanks.

Peter

In the abc.com forward lookup zone on your local DNS server, create a new
host, name it mail and give it the IP of the website the ISP set up for you.
