Have I Boobed
The story is I have setup up a win2000 AD server - so far so good, with some assistance from you guys here everything functions AOK. The problem is - We have a domain name eg mycompany.com hosted externally, however I wrongly or rightly named the server with the same name ie mycompany.com now internal network users cannot access www.mycompany.com. Do I need to add a DNS entry for www.mycompany.com pointing to the external IP address, If so where do I add this entry is it a new host? Thanx in anticipation Tony L |

You need to add a new Host (A) record of www in the company.com zone that
points to the external IP address. That should fix it.
