Hi
I installed the recommended Windows update of Direct 9X end user update and I do not see my CD Drive anymore. I have a Dell Latitude C810 and Win2K Pro. I reformated my drive, reinstalled everything, worked well for a week or two, installed the last update of Direct9.X and pfuttt...... I reinstalled my CD driver again few times, restarted each time, disable, etc..., NADA. Then, I ran Dell diagnostics 5) diskettes, which sees and tests my CD Drive OK but back to normal, no more CD Drive (driver?)in the Window Explorer or the Device Manager. It turns for sure but no "see" Can you help? Cheers |
