Default Kill automatically started processes

Hi there,
I have an qtek 2020, wich is a pda with telephone functions. My problem is,
that there are so many processes running in background (mms, sms, caller id)
so my application is sometimes killed after a while (i.e. active sync process
is restarted, and there are not enough free processes...). Is it possible to
prevent starting processes like mms or caller id?

Greetings,
Cyberdot

The first thing I would suggest is to check you have the latest rom. Since
this was a problem with these devices OEMs have released updated roms for
the HTC phone edition devices which run more of the software as a service
rather than in it's own process. You can also disable tools like ia caller
id by removing their key in the registry - HKLM\Software\Init
