Hi there,
I have an qtek 2020, wich is a pda with telephone functions. My problem is, that there are so many processes running in background (mms, sms, caller id) so my application is sometimes killed after a while (i.e. active sync process is restarted, and there are not enough free processes...). Is it possible to prevent starting processes like mms or caller id? Greetings, Cyberdot |

The first thing I would suggest is to check you have the latest rom. Since
this was a problem with these devices OEMs have released updated roms for the HTC phone edition devices which run more of the software as a service rather than in it's own process. You can also disable tools like ia caller id by removing their key in the registry - HKLM\Software\Init Peter -- Peter Foot Windows Embedded MVP www.inthehand.com | www.opennetcf.org "Cyberdot" <Cyberdot@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:91D84727-2597-44EA-BFFD-46291419B7F4@microsoft.com... > Hi there, > I have an qtek 2020, wich is a pda with telephone functions.
