I have recently received a new HP RZ1710 which works on Windows Mobile 2003
Second Edition Version 4.21. I have tried running old applications that used to run on previous version of CE for Pocket PC and it does not work. I get the following exception ... "Could not load type System.Data.DataTable from assembly System.Data, Version 1.0.5000.0,Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=B77A5C561934E089" Is this because the compact framework is now installed in ROM on all new devices that run on Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition? How do I get around these problems? Your help would be appreciated? |

Hmm... can you provide more info on which applications you are seeing this
problem with? If you'd like we can discuss this by email - I'm rlevy@microsoft.com -- Robert Levy Program Manager Mobile Devices Product Group http://blogs.msdn.com/windowsmobile This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights. This is actually the second report of this kind. The first one was about

Recently, one of our salesman picked up an HP Ipaq h6300 pda, when I deploy our app. onto this pda I get this error.
