I suggest you deploy your application to your target through ActiveSync. And
the needed files should be in the default folder \program
files\YourSolution\.

Check whether there is any file you forget to copy. Some files' attribute is
hidden.

that will run applications that use the .NET compact framework. As far as I
can tell the .NET Compact Framework is added to the platform. But when I try
to run applications (written in C#) that use the .NET Compact Framework

programs do run on my Desktop correctly, and on a device running Pocket PC
2003.
