Marko,

Does your device have an ActiveSync connection with your Visual Studio.NET
machine? You either need to run the Select WinCE CPU tool if the device is
connected via ActiveSync or run the Authenticaion tool otherwise. Both
tools are included in the Windows CE Utils. Have you run eithe of them?

| my system includes the following:

| - Win XP Pro on Dell laptop
| - Platform Builder 4.1
| - Visual Studio.NET 2003 (trial)
| - NS Geode based 3.5" embedded PC with Win CE.NET 4.1
| - incl. .NET CF
| - LAN connection
|
| I have developed some applications with eMbedded Visual
| C++ 4.0 and successfully downloaded them to the device
| via LAN.
|
| I try to evaluate the Visual Studio .NET 2003 for
| developing VB.NET and ASP.NET applications (maybe C#,
| too) on the device.

| I tried a basic application having only a couple of
| buttons and textboxes and successfully tried it on my
| IPAQ 5450 PocketPC, PocketPC emulator and Windows CE.NET
| device emulation, BUT I CANNOT CONNECT TO MY DEVICE.

| Where could I find detailed instructions of how to do
| this, including instructions of how to setup ActiveSync, because it
| seems not to work either? It works with my IPAQ, but not with my
| device. I have Windows CE Utilities for Visual Studio .NET
| 2003 add-on installed.
