Default The memory could not be "read"

Hi all,

Issue:
Occasionally I get the application error: The instruction at "0x74bda2f7"
referenced memory at "0x00000008". The memory could not be "read".

What I've found so far:
http://support.microsoft.com/defaul...kb;en-us;830724 discusses
what appears to be the same problem, although my server already has .Net
Framework 1.1 SP1, do this doesn't apply. Am I experiencing a regression or
just a similar bug?

Background:
I've got a few VB.Net apps that on a Windows 2003 server. The server has all
of the latest patches and is updated to .Net Framework (SP1). The
applications that run on this box are "long running" console apps. The box
does experience some memory stress from time to time, although the the error
I see doesn't always happen when the servers appears to be experiencing
memory stress. The issue I'm seeing happens very infrequently and
randomly(once every month or 2, although it could happen within a day of the
application starting).

Any ideas on how to fix or debug?

Thanks,
Phil Mattson
