Default Remote Desktop moves to top window when hitting control-c

I have a remote desktop session opened in the background at times. When
I'm doing something else, Word or some VS.NET, I will often use the
Ctrl-C/Ctrl-V combination to do cut and paste operations.

Consistently, when I hit Ctrl-C, Windows starts flipping through all
open screens and settles on the Remote Desktop session. This will even
happen if I have two sessions open and I'm in one of them.

Nothing like this happens when I do not have Remote Desktop open.

Help?

David C.
