Default How do i fix my Guestbook?


Whenever someone tries to submit information into my Guestbook, it comes up
with a Frontpage error. How do you fix that??

Hi J,

Providing a URL for the problem page would allow us to look at it.

You may have changed the default settings. The Guestbook is defaulted to
guestlg.htm and the results are set to HTML definition list.

If these settings are set properly, it could be a problem with the extensions.

This depends on whether you are the server or not. If you are not the
server then all you can do is ask the owners of the server to remove the
file frontpg.lck in

G:\Inetpub\wwwroot\_vti_pvt

and then Recalculate the Web and check server extensions in IIS manager.
