formatting viewing differently in dialup then broadband

Can anyone tell me why the formatting is viewing differently in dialup then
it is in broadband. I published a site using a broadband connection, tested
it in both IE6 and Netscape 7.2, thought I'd better check out the speed of my
images loading in dial-up, and was surprised to see the formatting gone awry.

It's not going to make any difference at all. After all, the page is
rendered client-side....

Same machine or a different machine??

If a different machine is the monitor resolution set the same as the broadband machine??
