Default Browser address bar, displayed / not displayed information

Hello,

Just one, I trust, simple question:

In a browser address bar, the full path to a particular page is shown, e.g. http://www.aftonbladet.se/vss/nyhet...,542390,00.html, which information in itself is informative, but what do I have to do in FP 2003 (or more correctly, in the html code) to show the simplier (more obscure!) "http://www.aftonbladet.se" show up, irrespective of where you are in the web site structure?

Best regards,

Use a frameset, which is not really a great idea unless you understand the issue related to user and
search engines.

The only way would be to use frames, where the address is always the address
of the frameset page, not the constituent frame pages. However, there are
many disadvantages to using frames that may well render this an undesirable
alternative.

you could probably do it with javascript too, but then anyone who had javascript disabled wouldn't see the page.

I don't think so. You have very little control over what's shown in the
address field of the browser (if any at all).
