No offense, but your question is akin to saying; I'm new at flying, can
anyone tell me how to pilot an F-15? But anyway, here you go.... I assume you know something about HTML, ASP, Access and/or SQL Server. http://www.aspfaq.com http://www.4guysfromrolla.com/ Bob Lehmann "bryan" <bryan@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:75AC73FF-A466-4355-A914-27E211B55288@microsoft.com... > Hello !! im new to the web site creation world !! here is my question ? > Im trying to create a database web site ? is there any examples i can look > at to get an idea of how to do this any tips would be helpful ! thanks |

I assume your a complete newbie: like you say, "im new to the web site creation
world !! " Starting out with a database site is a big step (call it a giant leap) up from a static basic site. Bryan, you might want to start simple and work you way up to database driven sites (I've been using frontpage for 7 years, and have only this year worked my way into the database/asp stuff that frontpage offers). This site is a good one to begin with (frontpage tutorial on all aspects of frontpage including databases). www.frontpagewiz.com Note, however that Frontpage's limitations on database integration - you may have to learn ASP programming in the long term to be really flexible with what you want to do. Databases in terms of the web are used for all sorts of things from being the back-end of a complete content management system to discussion boards and the like.
