Default Increasing Length of Link Bars

I like to use descriptive names on the link buttons
contained in my websites, and occasionally I have a link
name that exceeds the length of a particular theme's link
bar. In these cases, the name of the link is usually
truncated. (In some instances based upon the theme, a
portion of a long link name will be displayed on a second
line within the link bar.)
Is there any way to increase the length of one or more
link buttons in a theme-based link bar?
Thanks in advance for any help provided.

Jim

You need to modify the Theme to use larger buttons.

You have to modify the theme to use larger images.

You have to open/apply a theme, then you can edit the theme and it's various elements.

....but you can't make them much wider than they already are.
