Interactive Buttons not working...

On http://goldvinegrill.com the Interactive Buttons all the way to the left are not working. (Get Directions and Email us). if you hover your mouse over it, it does not show the hovered photo?

have you uploaded the image files to the correct folder on your server?
they are 'pointing' to your root directory, not the one called images (or such).

the 'hover over' image is missing (the one it swaps to when the mouse is over the
image), but the initial one is there.

Interactive buttons are not fully supported in Shared borders (the paths are not corrected in the mouseover event scripts correctly)
In FP 2003 you should be using a Dynamic Web Template for your layout and Interactive Buttons instead of Shared Borders

Hi Austin,
Had this same problem myself and I'm afraid it could not be resolved on this forum. I finished up going through Microsoft to fix it and I might add the problem had nothing to do with shared borders as I wasn't using them.

This is a shared border problem for this user

The Interactive buttons work at the left shared border page at
http://goldvinegrill.com/_borders/left.htm because the mouse event scripts (and body image preloads) are pointing to images relative
to that page in the _borders folder
But do not work at http://goldvinegrill.com/index.htm because the images in the mouse events are in the _border folder (not the root
folder that the scripts are calling) - the script is not being adjusted

Tim mentioned earlier that he did not get a solution on this forum but
through Microsoft. But did not mention what it was.
I am having the same problem and none of my 'interactive' buttons work at
all .

sometimes certain local settings will prevent them from appearing locally.
Publish your page to the internet and see if they will work there.
If they don't, give us the URL to the page and someone will check your code.

I am only new to Frontpage so I have not published yet. I am just running
through the microsoft online training exercises. When I create the
interactive buttons on a blank page or one of the example sites - everything
works how it should in the properties box, it is only when I view in a
browser that they do not work. The links work and the right pages are found
but no graphical change to the button.

Make sure when you are saving the embedded button images in your FP web you are not using names w/ spaces or punctuation
Also IB do not work in shared borders unless you add the body onloads and edit the paths in your pages that use them
