Default Amber Alert javascript, layers and browsers

URL: http://www.lannonfire.com/links/alerts.htm

When saved on my desktop and opened, it works fine in
Firefox. IE doesn't show the 'expand' button on the right
side
When published to my live site, IE behaves the same as the
desktop verion, Firefox has no contents in the box.

On the script sources website, the behavior is the same as
it when I run the desktop version.

What did I screw up on this?

Source of script is http://codeamber.org

Mike

Mozilla 1.6 shows the expand button but it doesn't do anything.
I expect you may have to find a script that has better compatibility.
