Default forms

i made a form which i want to email the results back to
me. when i try to add my email address to the form it
sais this.. "this form cannot be configured to send
results via email. The website may be at a disk based
location, or on a server that has not been configured to
send email. pelase contact your system admin or isp for
more info"

is there eanything i can do, or do i have to ask my
provider to do something about this?

thanks

Heather,

Sounds like the infamous "Disk Based Web" message.

It is normal to get this when saving a form to your local
web. It is basially a reminder that the extensions are
necessary in order for the form to work. Always
answer "NO" in response.

The Frontpage form relies on two primary ingredients.

1. the FrontPage server extensions must be properly
installed on the server.

2. Publishing with Frontpage to http ;ocation. Don't use
FTP.

If the extensions are installed on the server, then the
form should function properly after publishing.
