Default Duplicated on Host Server?

I have FP 2002 and should have 10 megs available to me, I am showing I have used about 6.2. When I last tried to upload to the server, I got an error message and have learned that I've maxed out my 10 megs. A friend of mine who has used an older version of FP said that when she FTP's her file from the server, it had duplicated text and pictures, basically only allowing half the space she is allotted

Any suggestions are appreciated!

Don't use FTP use Publish.

I personally am not; I can generally just save without problems. My friend and I were advised to FTP to see what the difference was between our working copies and what was being saved on the host.

If you ftp it forces FrontPage to assume the server extensions are not
installed. Therefore it doesn't prompt you to delete
files that are no longer used.

If you have done a lot of renaming, do a File Publish all
Note: FP publishes new pages before it deletes old page so you may want to open the online web in FP and do some cleanup before you
start
